Antifungal drug.   Active substance - naftifine . The active ingredient is a derivative of allylamine. Principle effects aimed at inhibition of squalene-2, 3-epoxidase. Naftin has fungistatic and fungicidal action. Fungistatic effect is against mikrosporovyh species Trichophyton,   molds , Athlete's, yeasts of the genus Candida, and the accumulation of squalene is provided within the cell. The fungicidal effect of reduction of education provided ergosterol   in fungal cells. Naftin effectively used in pityriasis versicolor, sporotrichosis, and has a strong antimicrobial effects on gram-negative, gram-positive flora fungal lesions. The drug reduces the severity of pruritus has anti-inflammatory effect . Specific activity of the drug indicated for the treatment of hyperkeratosis , Mycosis hairy areas. Naftin available as a cream, solution for external use.

Indications:

Naftin prescribed for skin candidiasis, tinea, pityriasis versicolor .

Contraindications:

Naftin does not apply in case of hypersensitivity to the naftifine unacceptable application of the drug to the open wound site. Babies, breastfeeding, pregnancy naftifine used with caution in the absence of reliable information about the safety of anti-fungal agent.

Side effect:

Mode of application:

Naftin applied topically in the form of a 1% solution or a 1% cream. The drug is applied to previously cleaned and dried 1 affected areas once daily.
