At the same time women suffer from poor sleep more than men. Scientists studying the quality of sleep of people even put corresponding balls for sleep. And scientists who study sleep at the University of Pennsylvania, told the public that healthy people who have a habit of staying up late, could gradually develop a tendency to set overweight . The reason is very simple: the fact that the majority of later "owls" love to eat something tasty and therefore calories.
During the experiment, conducted by researchers, 225 people aged 22 - 50 with normal body weight were divided into two groups. People in the first group slept for 4 hours - from 4 to 8 in the morning. People in the second group slept for 10 hours - from 10 pm to 8 am. Such scheme of sleep people followed for 18 days. However, they were fed on a schedule, but could and snacking on request.
As a result, it was found out that people from the first group during the experiment gained weight as in the evening they tend to something spruce. So wishing to keep in shape is better to go to bed early.
