Combined preparation. Active ingredients: phenylephrine, caffeine and paracetamol. Coldrex able to eliminate the main symptoms of "colds" diseases. The drug has analgesic, antipyretic, psychostimulant effects, fills a deficiency of vitamin C, eliminates puffiness nasopharynx, nasal cavity, causes narrowing of blood vessels in the lining of the nose. The drug begins to have effect after 20 minutes. Coldrex is available in tablet form.

Indications, contraindications:

Coldrex used in SARS . Flu "Colds" diseases. The drug is not prescribed in case of intolerance phenylephrine, acetaminophen, caffeine. The drug Coldrex not apply to pediatric patients, with severe renal disease, hepatic system, in hyperthyroidism,   diabetes , Hypertension, heart disease.

Side effect:

Insomnia, palpitations, allergic response, increase in blood pressure, vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, and headaches. Rarely observed hemolytic anemia , Thrombocytopenia, hepatotoxity .

Mode of application:

Coldrex taken orally, washed down with a sufficient amount of liquid. When the first symptoms of flu, "a cold" disease medication prescribed 2 tablets at the reception, up to 4 times per day. Children 6-12 years old dose reduce by half.

Drug Interactions:

Coldrex incompatible with antasthmatic , Analgesics, anti-bacterial drugs. It is unacceptable co-administration of medicines that contain acetaminophen.
